Description
Each year a Christmas Bird Count-type bird survey is done at Canyon Lake west of New Braunfels in Comal County by Comalbirder (Yahoo group). There are openings in the South section which will include either Sattler, TX area or Crane's Mill Park (closed for winter, but will be accessible only to us by special permit that day) and a private, gated homeowner park. The meeting site at a Cafe affords a good breakfast/ taco). There will be a countdown dinner for all participants TBD. Half-day participation is allowed. This field trip is by reservation and only if space is available. Contact Leslie Linehan at linehanla@gvtc.com by January 25.
