Description

This is the sixth Young Birders Club monthly bird walk of 2016!  The theme is the Migratory Birds (Summer Residents).


Award-winning Travis Audubon Youth member Sebastian Casarez will give a short presentation, and then lead a bird walk around Berry Springs Park and Preserve in search of the Migratory Birds (Summer Residents).  Young Birders Club members will learn more about the birds that nest in Central Texas.  

Bring your own binoculars or use a pair of our small binoculars.

Attendees will be provided with handouts for this Young Birders Club monthly bird walk.


Who can attend?

This event is limited to 12 Young Birders, ages 14 years and younger.

One parent or legal guardian must attend the event with her/his registered child(ren).

By registering for this event, you affirm that you have read and agree to abide by our Liability Waiver

Photos will be taken at the event for Travis Audubon promotional materials, including social media. Those children who opt-out will not be included in photos used by Travis Audubon.


Cost and Membership Opportunities

This Young Birder Club event is FREE to both Travis Audubon Youth Members and first-time attendees.

Travis Audubon Youth membership is $10 per year.

Travis Audubon Family membership is $50 per year (new rate effective April 15) for up to 4 family members residing at the same household.
