Description
Assist with bird surveys (including Christmas Bird Count, Bird Collision surveys, etc.), assessments of our sanctuaries, and other field work.
Blog/Web Content Contributions

Write blog entries about birds, current conservation issues, or other relevant topics for the Signal Smoke Blog on the Travis Audubon website.
Events/Outreach
Description
Represent Travis Audubon at local events by leading small activities, distributing collateral, and discussing the benefits of being a TAS member.
Sanctuary Work Days
Description
Assist with sanctuary work days (Blair Woods, Baker, Chaetura Canyon, or Commons Ford). Look for upcoming events on the TAS calendar.
Youth Programs
Description
Assist with setting up, greeting, and facilitating educational activities at our family and youth events! Includes helping out at Young Birders Club trips. By applying to this volunteer category, you consent to TAS performing a background check.
